Château Haut-Brion is considered one of the most expensive and important wine currently produced in the world.

It is one of the First Growths classified in 1855 (the others being Château Latour, Château Margaux, Château Lafite-Rothschild, then later in 1973 Château Mouton Rothschild). Its history dates back to 1550 in Bordeaux, France. Other top wines made in Bordeaux include Château Petrus, Château Ausone, Château Cheval Blanc, Château le Pin.

These wines always appear on the wine lists of the very best restaurants in the world, costing thousands of dollars.
