Bacchus Restaurant $38

Of all the great plates you'll find at Bacchus Restaurant in the Wedgewood Hotel, the one on the wall tells the story best. It's the plate inscribed with the Four Diamond Award from the CAA/AAA. It is a perfect companion to the Wedgewood's own Four Diamond rating, an honour indicating that this rooms' service is second to none.

Walk through the Hornby Street entrance, and Bacchus' attention to detail is immediately apparent. You are instantly surrounded by luxury, with richly upholstered furniture, warm, dark wood, and light fixtures imported from Venice personally by owner Eleni Skalbania. A large canvas depicting Bacchus himself, Greek god of wine and revelry, presides over the room.

Cento Notti $38

Cento Notti is Italian for one hundred nights, and that is exactly how long this bold new experiment in Vancouver pop-up restaurants will last, so hurry. The eatery's latest reinvention is the immaculate conception of Cento Notti at the world famous OPUS Hotel Vancouver.

Serving a sexy and irreverent mash-up of Italian influenced pop art and comfort food, the latest collaboration between artist and chef will leave your senses deliciously twisted. It’s a glittering, gold-dipped taste of La Dolce Vita that’s unapologetically over-the-top and in-your-face. Gone are the graffiti splashed walls of the previous One Hundred Nights incarnation. At Cento Notti gold and glitter rule, while classic Italian frescos and Botticelli-esque busts accent the room. New executive chef Paul Marshall serves up a fresh new spin on classic Italian cuisine.

YEW restaurant + bar $38


Designed to capture the essence of British Columbia's natural environment, lofty 12-metre (40-foot) ceilings reach to the sky, while wood-paneled walls and a floor-to-ceiling sandstone fireplace emanate warmth and comfort, at the Four Seasons Hotel.

Executive Chef Oliver Beckert stimulates the palate with tastes from the entire Pacific region with local, seasonal ingredients. YEW’s communal table for 14 is a convivial setting for magic from the restaurant’s two open kitchens and a skylit private dining room for 10 is secluded by frosted glass.
